THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ZEUS (G Lerena) was slow losing two lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) At approximately the 100m, MARCHINGONTOGETHER (R Munger) was carried out marginally by ZEUS (G Lerena) which rolled out and was immediately straightened. An Objection was lodged by Jockey R Munger the rider of the 2nd placed horse (MARCHINGONTOGETHER) against the winner ZEUS (G Lerena) on the grounds of intimidation in the concluding stages. The Board, after giving regard to the evidence presented by all parties, as well as taking into consideration the marginal carry, the distance of 0,15 lengths between runners at the line, was of the opinion that this incident had not affected the result of the race and therefore overruled the objection and allowed the Judges result to stand. Jockey Munger's deposit was refunded. b) ZEUS (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer F P Habib advised (LK). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) OUT OF YOUR LEAGUE Jockey S Khumalo weighed out at 54,9kg, 0,5kg over the carded weight.
