THE STARTER REPORTED: a) LUCY THE PINK (R Munger) jumped slow, losing two lengths. b) ALITTLEBITNAUGHTY (P Strydom) stumbled leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) The start of this race was delayed due to the 30-minute interval between races. b) ALITTLEBITNAUGHTY (P Strydom) raced wide without cover on the bend and into the straight. c) DOUBLE DREAM (C Orffer) was hanging out throughout. d) RED SASH (K de Melo), which was hanging out in the straight, was held up for a clear run between the 300m and the 100m. e) Jockey R Fourie reported that FUR BABY, which proved difficult to settle in the early stages, did not stride out freely in running. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this filly. f) GREEN CHILLI, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
