THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SUNDOG (*M K Katjedi) and COUNTY KILDARE (A Mgudlwa) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) In the concluding stages, COUNTY KILDARE (A Mgudlwa) was directed away from MAGGIE TEE (C F Dicken) which rolled out. b) Trainer M Dixon was questioned with regard to the improved performance of MAGGIE TEE (C F Dicken) as compared to this filly's previous run in a Maiden Plate at Hollywoodbets Scottsville Racecourse on 04 December 2022. Mr Dixon explained that in his opinion MAGGIE TEE is suited to the conditions of the Maiden Handicap that she ran in today and that this filly prefers racing on a Poly-track surface. Mr Dixon has undertaken to race MAGGIE TEE on the Poly-track surface where possible in the future. This explanation was noted. c) MAGGIE TEE (C F Dicken), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer M Dixon advised (DZ).
