THE STARTER REPORTED: a) PAISLEY PARK (C Habib) was slow losing one length. b) OUTOFTHEDARKNESS (G Lerena) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Following the running of Race 7, in consultation with the Riders, the official track condition was changed from Good to Soft. b) OUTOFTHEDARKNESS (G Lerena) faltered badly after taking an awkward stride shortly after the start. c) Jockey R Simons reported that CRIMSON KING took no interest in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. d) Jockey C Habib reported that PAISLEY PARK took no interest in running.
