THE STARTER REPORTED: a) VICTORY BELLE (A Arries) and STAR CHOICE (M Yeni) lost one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) STAR CHOICE (M Yeni) raced detached from the field and was wide throughout. In view of this, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. b) At the 150m, RUSSIAN DOLL (*R Venniker) was steadied and switched to the outside of HEREINAFTER (C Dicken) which had shifted in away from the crop. Jockey C Dicken appeared before the Board with regard to this incident and was advised to take measures to correct his mounts when they shift ground in races in future. c) ADDIENA (*S Hlengwa), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer G Puller advised (NS). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) HEREINAFTER was ridden by Jockey C Dicken (advised 30.01.2023 / 08h41). b) Jockey T Gumede the rider of CANDY FOR MY MOMMY weighed out at 52.9kg, 0.5kg over the carded weight of 52kg.
