THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Intermittent rain fell during the running of this Race. b) Shortly after the start, QUEEN OF SHADOWS (R Simons) and SHIVERS (C Maujean) were carried in by SUPREME QUEST (G Lerena), which jumped inwards sharply leaving the stalls. c) GILDED BUTTERFLY (K Matsunyane), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
