The start of this Race was delayed due to FLAMING LASS becoming restless in the stalls, having to be removed, subjected to an examination by the Course Veterinary Surgeon and subsequently being withdrawn. FLAMING LASS was restless in the stalls and was subsequently withdrawn by the Course Veterinary Surgeon. BACCINO was stubborn loading. Trainer Miller was advised to re-school this filly. BOLD MOVE and RISE lost two lengths. RISE was squeezed out shortly after the start. Thereafter, this filly raced detached from the field and was subsequently reported by Jockey Veale as having taken no interest in the running. Into the first turn, OREO BLACK, ARMENGNAC and ALGARVE were carried out respectively by BINT EL MALAK, AQUAE SULIS and BACCINO, each of which, shifted out whilst over-racing in the early and middle stages. In view of the Starter's report with regard to FLAMING LASS, this filly's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and she was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable with a companion. FLAMING LASS may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer G Puller was advised. Jockey de Melo signed an admission of guilt for a contravention in that he engaged himself to ride more than one horse in this Race. A penalty of a warning was imposed. COTTAGE GARDEN was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: RISE - not striding out left fore. ALGARVE - post race distress. Scratched: SING ALONG and SPARKLING SUZY - eliminated. FLAMING LASS - head injury and not striding out left hind. Withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon.
