THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start, GO DREAM MACHINE (*M K Katjedi), which proved difficult to settle, was steadied off the heels of NAMAQUA BLOSSOM (R Danielson), which rolled in. b) DARK TRAVEL (G Lerena) and ROSY LEMON (N Klink) over-raced in the early stages. c) Leaving the 150m, GO FLICHITY (K de Melo), which shifted out away from the crop and was straightened, became unbalanced when bumped in on two occasions by NAMAQUA BLOSSOM (R Danielson), which shifted in when under pressure. d) GO FLICHITY (K de Melo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer G H van Zyl advised (MS). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) IDEAL FUTURE: Apprentice D B Geerthsen weighed out at 50,9kg, only claiming 1,5kg of his 2,5kg apprentice allowance.
