THE STARTER REPORTED: a) NORDIC REBEL (G Lerena) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) En route to the start, CLARKSON (K de Melo) pulled its right front shoe which was attended to by the Course Farrier. b) At approximately the 1200m, CABINET SHUFFLE (*S Sosibo) had to steady momentarily when awkwardly placed between CLARKSON (K de Melo) and NORDIC REBEL (G Lerena). Shortly thereafter, CABINET SHUFFLE (*S Sosibo) took an awkward stride. c) Apprentice D B Geerthsen, the rider of KOTINOS, accidentally dropped his crop at the 50m. d) MELECH (R Danielson), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
