THE STARTER REPORTED: a) AVOONTOAST (S Khumalo) was stubborn loading, restless in the stalls and thereafter slow losing two lengths. Trainer J A Soma was advised to reschool this filly prior to her next engagement (GT). THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) HAPPY VIBES (G Pieterse) hung in and shifted in from the 400m. b) TOGETHER AGAIN (D Schwarz) and FREEDOM SQUARE (*S Sosibo) came together and brushed leaving the 300m. c) Jockey J Mariba (FLIGHT DE GRACE) lost his right-side stirrup iron in the pull up area. d) ROCKINGTHETIMEAWAY (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer F Bronkhorst advised (MS). e) POURSOMESUGARONME (R Munger), placed second, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
