En route to the start ISLE DE FRANCE dislodged Jockey Murray and bolted. Jockey Murray was examined by the course medical staff and declared unfit to ride. ISLE DE FRANCE was caught, brought in hand, inspected by the Veterinary Surgeon and declared fit to race. A replacement rider was weighed out, ISLE DE FRANCE re-saddled in the back parade ring and thereafter proceeded to the start. These incidents caused a delay to the start of this Race. GREEN LASER and SPANISH BOY were slow into stride. Shortly after the start IKIGAI and ROOI TOM came together and bumped. IKIGAI was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. ISLE DE FRANCE raced without a tongue tie. Vet: SPANISH BOY - blowing; fatigued. ISLE DE FRANCE - abnormal respiratory noise. Scratched: MAWSOOL - off feed.
