THE STARTER REPORTED: a) EGYPTIAN MAU (C Zackey) was stubborn loading. Trainer M N Houdalakis was advised to reschool this filly prior to her next engagement (GT). b) ICE STAR (C Maujean), DARLING HARBOUR (K de Melo) and PLATINA PRINCESS (K Matsunyane) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) EGYPTIAN MAU (C Zackey) shifted both ways away from the crop from the 200m. b) Jockey C Maujean reported that ICE STAR changed stride continually in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) Jockey J P van der Merwe reported that ARCTIC COMMANDER made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) Jockey K de Melo reported that DARLING HARBOUR made an abnormal respiratory noise in running.
