THE STARTER REPORTED: a) YOUCRACKMEUP (K de Melo) was reluctant to load. b) ELEODORO (O Noach) was restless in the stalls and jumped slow, losing one length. c) TWICE THE FLO stumbled leaving the stalls, unbalancing Jockey K Steyn, and thereafter was slow into stride. d) FALLO ANCORA (JP van der Merwe) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) At the 250m FALLO ANCORA (JP van der Merwe) was brushed outwards by ILHA DA MAURICIA (L Mxothwa), which shifted out and was immediately straightened. b) Jockey D Ashby reported that MISS NEW YORK did not stride out freely in running. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) In view of the report from the Starter regarding YOUCRACKMEUP (K de Melo), Trainer B Crawford will be advised to have this filly re-schooled prior to her next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10. d) CLOUD CHASER, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
