THE STARTER REPORTED:
a) During the loading process, GODSPEED nudged the front gates open and exited the stalls. This filly was restrained by Apprentice S Sosibo, returned to the start, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon, declared fit to race and reloaded. Trainer F Bronkhorst was advised to reschool this filly this prior to her next engagement (GT).
b) HAWKBILL (C Zackey) jumped outwards leaving the stalls.
c) MUTARAZI (N Klink) was slow into stride.
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a) In the concluding stages, ZOOMBOMBER (P Strydom) and GODSPEED (*S Sosibo) were carried in marginally by JERUSALEMA RAIN (A Domeyer), which hung in from the 200m.
b) HAWKBILL (C Zackey) shifted in away from the crop in the concluding stages.
c) JERUSALEMA RAIN (A Domeyer), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer A B Fortune advised (MS).
JOCKEY CHANGES:
a) GALLADORN was ridden by Jockey S Khumalo (declared 30 March 2023 at 07H52).
b) MUTARAZI was ridden by Jockey N Klink (declared 30 March 2023 at 07H44).
RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER:

a) BRETTSKI abnormal respiratory noise.
b) HAWKBILL abnormal respiratory noise.
