HOLLYWOOD THUNDER stood awkwardly in the stalls. BABA YAGA was slow away and lost 1 length. RED FOREST was slow into stride and jumped inwards leaving the stalls. GOOD TIMES ROLL was slow into stride. The saddle of RED FOREST slipped backwards in the running. Trainer Smith appeared before the Board and was afforded an opportunity to explain the improved performance of CABALLE. He explained to the Board that this being a weak field coupled with the fact that this filly prefers a shorter distance and that he equipped her with blinkers today, all these factors combined have accounted for this filly's improved performance. Mr Smith was advised to keep this filly over a similar distance in future. CABALLE and GOOD TIMES ROLL were selected for the taking of specimens for an analysis.
