THE STARTER REPORTED:
a) During the loading process, EVERY CLOUD (+C Mabaya) broke through the front gates, was restrained by the Work Rider, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon, passed fit to race and reloaded. The starting stall certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn. Trainer B D Botes was advised (GT).
b) TOTAL SURRENDER (+B Mlangeni) refused to load. The starting stall certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn. Trainer M N Houdalakis was advised (GT).
c) CELTIC RUSH (+S Mosia) refused to load. The starting stall certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn. Trainer D Nieuwenhuizen was advised (GT).
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a) In view of the Starter's report with regard to EVERY CLOUD, this gelding's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and he is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as he proves tractable loading and jumping with a companion.
Suspension dates: 14 April 2023 to 20 April 2023. EVERY CLOUD may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer B D Botes was advised.
b) In view of the Starter's report with regard to TOTAL SURRENDER, this gelding's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and he is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as he proves tractable loading and jumping with a companion.
