THE STARTER REPORTED: a) IMPOSING (*R A Venniker) was difficult to load. b) IMILENZEYOKUDUDUMA (S Veale) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Approaching the 200m, LOOK FOR HOUNDS (R Khathi) and BOWIE (D Schwarz) were carried out by QUASIFORSURE (T Godden) which rolled out and was immediately straightened. Thereafter at the 150m PRICELESS RULER (S Moodley) was eased momentarily and switched to the outside of LOOK FOR HOUNDS (R Khathi), which was hanging in proving difficult to assist and shifted in, to obtain a clear run. Jockey R Khathi (LOOK FOR HOUNDS) appeared before the Board with regard to this incident. The Board acknowledged that LOOK FOR HOUNDS (R Khathi) was hanging in and proving difficult to assist. However, Jockey R Khathi was advised to ensure that he takes all permissible measures to correct his mounts timeously when they shift ground in races in future. b) In the concluding stages SILVER OPERATOR (C Zackey) and IMPOSING (*R A Venniker) which was hanging out, came together and brushed on two occasions. c) QUASIFORSURE (T Godden), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer P B Muscutt advised (DZ). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) SILVER OPERATOR raced without blinkers (advised 22.04.23/07h08). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil.
