THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ORIENTAL ODYSSEY (*M K Katjedi) was slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) As the start was effected, MIA FIORE (C Zackey) and PARADISE FLOWER (R Munger) came together and bumped. b) Shortly after the start, LEAHLICIOUS (N Qaule) was squeezed out between KHATEERA (*D B Geerthsen) and COUNT YOUR CHANCES (G Lerena), which rolled in. c) KHATEERA (*D B Geerthsen) raced green. d) ATCHISON TOPEKA (J R Syster) raced wide and without cover around the turn and into the straight. e) HAVE A PARTY (D Schwarz) commenced to over-race from the 1200m and as a consequence, raced awkwardly with its head up around the turn. f) At approximately the 1000m, PARADISE FLOWER (R Munger) took an awkward stride after making contact with the inside running rail. g) MIA FIORE (C Zackey) shifted out away from the crop from the 150m. h) MIA FIORE (C Zackey), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
