THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ROSSORE FINALE (G Lerena) reared in the stalls. b) FRENCH IMPACT (M Yeni) and SHACHATH (M van Rensburg) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. c) DIESEL'S SHADOW (D Schwarz) and ROSSORE FINALE (G Lerena) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) As the start was effected, DIESEL'S SHADOW (D Schwarz) and SHACHATH (M van Rensburg) came together and bumped. b) Shortly after the start, DREAMLAND (K Matsunyane) was carried out by ROSSORE FINALE (G Lerena), which jumped outwards leaving the stalls. c) SHAMPIMPI (*M K Katjedi) over-raced in the early and middle stages. d) Shortly before the finish line, DREAMLAND (K Matsunyane), which raced green, was steadied to avoid running onto the heels of ROSSORE FINALE (G Lerena), which rolled out. e) In view of the performance of SHAMPIMPI (*M K Katjedi), (distance 11,00 lengths, betting 25/2), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. f) In view of the performance of BROTHERHOODOFMAGIC (*S Sosibo), (distance 12,00 lengths, betting 16/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this colt. g) GIMMEANOTHERCHANCE (K de Melo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
