THE STARTER REPORTED: a) CALANTHA (C Zackey) was restless in the stalls. b) MOVING IN (G Lerena) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) At approximately the 900m, WEST COAST LASS (J Penny), which was hanging in, had to steady to avoid running onto the heels of CALANTHA (C Zackey), which rolled out marginally. Thereafter, WEST COAST LASS (J Penny) continued to hang in throughout. b) Approaching the 400m, STORMY CHOICE (S Khumalo) had to steady momentarily when awkwardly placed between ROSE TINTED (*S Sosibo), which rolled out, and CALANTHA (C Zackey), which was carried in marginally by MICKE'S BOMB (D Schwarz). c) MOVING IN (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis (LK).
