THE STARTER REPORTED: a) PASHASHA (R Danielson) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) GILDA GRAY (M van Rensburg) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) RADU (P Strydom) raced wide, without cover around the turn and into the straight, Thereafter, this filly compounded from the 200m. In view of this performance, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. b) Leaving the 300m, PASCHALS SAMORE (M Thackeray) was momentarily inconvenienced when awkwardly placed between the inside running rail and on the inside of WRITTENINTHESAND (S Khumalo), which rolled in under pressure and was corrected. c) PRETTY IN PEARLS (*P Mxoli) commenced to give ground to the field from the 300m. Thereafter, Apprentice P Mxoli reported that he felt something amiss with PRETTY IN PEARLS in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) KWAZZI'S LADY (*K A Brewer) shifted both ways away from the crop in the concluding stages. e) Jockey M Yeni reported that CALL THE WIND did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. f) KWAZZI'S LADY (*K A Brewer), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
