THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Between the 100m and the finish BUSY LIZZIE (S Veale) was carried out by FUTURE GIRL (L Mxothwa), which was hanging out and proved difficult to assist. b) In view of the performance of BETTY BOOP (R Fourie) the veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) LADY SILVANO, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
