THE STARTER REPORTED: a) A fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) HIS MASTER'S VOICE (R Khathi) raced wide around the turn and into the straight, proving difficult to assist. Jockey R Khathi reported that the citation bit had shifted through the mouth of HIS MASTER'S VOICE resulting in Jockey Khathi being unable to assist this gelding. This was confirmed by the video evidence. b) REACH FORTHE STARS (T Godden) was momentarily inconvenienced for a run between the 500m and the 400m and thereafter was switched in to continue its run. c) Jockey S Khumalo reported that THISISWHATITMEANS made an abnormal respiratory noise in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) TRUSOVA (S Veale), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer P B Muscutt advised (NS).
