THE STARTER REPORTED: a) GOLDEN PACIFIC (JP van der Merwe) was unruly behind the stalls and nervous in the stalls. b) TIME FOR KATIE (S Khumalo) was nervous in the stalls. c) URSERN VALLEY (S Khathi) was nervous in the stalls and thereafter was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Due to a technical issue with the starting stalls, a manual start was effected, causing a delay. b) At the 400m TIME FOR KATIE (S Khumalo) was unbalanced when carried outwards marginally by BELLA ATRICE (L Mxothwa). Thereafter, TIME FOR KATIE (S Khumalo) commenced to hang inwards and was not persevered with in the latter stages. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine TIME FOR KATIE (S Khumalo). c) GOLDEN PACIFIC (JP van der Merwe), which raced green, shifted both ways in the straight and had to be straightened on two occasions. d) MOVE ON OVER, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer AC Greeff was advised.
