THE STARTER REPORTED: a) WINTER WAVES (K de Melo) and PASCALI (S Moodley) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) SPIRIT OF MY FATE (S Veale) over-raced in the early stages. b) Jockey C Maujean reported that RED MAGICIAN faltered behind on a number of occasions in the running and as a result he did not persevere with his riding in the straight. In view of this the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) Jockey M Yeni reported that IMMEASURABLE took no interest when encouraged in the straight. In view of this, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning EAGLE ALLEY, and in terms of Rule 93.1, this gelding is suspended for a period of 60 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority.
