THE STARTER REPORTED: a) CAPETOWN BEAUTY (D Daniels) and LIGHT OF THE MOON (P Strydom) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) HOLD MY HAND (R Fourie) commenced to over-race in the early stages. b) BELLA SICCOME (*S Hlengwa) was hanging out, proving difficult to assist entering the first turn. c) CAPETOWN BEAUTY (D Daniels) was hanging out from the 400m. d) At the 200m CAPETOWN BEAUTY (D Daniels) was eased momentarily off the heels of NONE OTHER (S Khumalo) which was hanging out from the 400m, was improving past CAPETOWN BEAUTY (D Daniels) and shifted out. Jockey S Khumalo appeared before the Board with regard to this incident and was advised to take earlier corrective measures to straighten his mounts when they shift ground in races in future. e) NONE OTHER (S Khumalo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
