THE STARTER REPORTED: a) LILY BLUE (W Marwing) and SUN BIRD (J Syster) were both slow losing 1.5 lengths each. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) During the loading process the starting stalls opened for no apparent reason on their own accord. All runners were restrained by their riders, returned to the start, checked by the Veterinary Surgeon, declared fit to race, and reloaded. b) SUN BIRD, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Stable Employee P Winasi advised (GF). JOCKEY AND/OR EQUIPMENT CHANGES: a) LILY BLUE (W Marwing) raced with earmuffs on. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) Nil. THE VETERINARY SURGEON HAD NO REPORTS.
