During the loading process GREAT ACHIEVEMENT reared up as he was loaded, dislodged Jockey Ndlovu, the handler opened the back gate to relieve this filly, consequently, she fell on the ground and got trapped underneath the starting stalls. The Veterinary surgeon and the starting stuff tried to extricate the horse from underneath the starting stalls, they eventually succeeded in doing so after a few minutes. GREAT ACHIEVEMENT after being taken out from the stalls was inspected by the Veterinary surgeon and declared unfit to run and thereby withdrawn. This cause a delay to the start of this race. BENEFICIARY was nervous in the stalls, reared at the off, slow away and lost 1 length. WIND FINDER and EDMONDA were nervous in the stalls. At approximately the 350m, EDMONDA was bumped out by MICROBE, which was marginally carried out by WIND FINDER, which shifted out marginally. Jockey Bogaleboile, the rider of BENEFICIARY, and Jockey Zechner, the rider of SHADOW QUEEN, reported that their respective mounts were not striding out freely in the running. Jockey Storey reported that PARTY ANGEL changed stride continually in the running. SUNSHINE MINT (IRE) was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: PARTY ANGEL and CLOUD BREAK - not striding out right fore. ESCAPE TO VEGAS - coughed post-race and speedy cut right hind. PUREST BLISS - blood in mouth. BENEFICIARY - not striding out left fore. DOMINICA - post-race distress syndrome. SHADOW QUEEN - nothing obvious detected. Scratched: PRINCESS KALISI - lame right hind, GREAT ACHIEVEMENT - injured in stalls.
