THE STARTER REPORTED: a) The tongue tie on PONDEROSA PINE (C Maujean) was re-fitted at the start. b) PONDEROSA PINE (C Maujean) was stubborn loading. c) PRINCIPESSA MIA (R Fourie) was stubborn loading and nervous in the stalls. d) HUNDREDFIFTHAVENUE (M van Rensburg) was stubborn loading and thereafter was slow into stride. e) COFFEE IN SEATTLE (Y Ramzan) jumped slow, losing one length. f) MISS TUCKER (J Gates) jumped outwards. g) SUNDROP (D Schwarz) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) HUNDREDFIFTHAVENUE (M van Rensburg) refused to parade and thereafter proved difficult proceeding to the start and had to be led riderless by a Handler, causing a delay. This filly is suspended indefinitely in terms of Rule 93.2.4 until such time as she proves tractable proceeding to the start on a race day. b) SUNDROP (D Schwarz) took an awkward stride shortly after the start. c) Jockey D Ashby reported that KUNGFOO LIGHTNING, which raced wide on the turn and into the straight, did not stride out freely in running. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) IDABELLE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer GD Smith was advised.
