THE STARTER REPORTED:
a) MIZZEN SAIL (D De Gouveia) reared in the stalls.
b) GOTCHA BUZZ (*P Mxoli) jumped inwards leaving the stalls.
c) ARABIAN RED (*M K Katjedi) was slow losing one length.
d) SUPERSKITT (Wes Marwing) was slow into stride.
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a) WONDER I DO (D Schwarz) hung in in the straight.
b) ARABIAN RED (*M K Katjedi), which raced green, shifted out away from the crop from the 300m. Thereafter, approaching the 150m, ARABIAN RED (*M K Katjedi) was directed outwards to avoid the heels of SUPERSKITT (Wes Marwing), and commenced to hang out in the concluding stages.
c) At approximately the 200m, GOTCHA BUZZ (*P Mxoli), which shifted in away from the crop, and ELEMENTAL FORCE (C Zackey), which ducked out sharply when racing green, came together and bumped.
d) In view of the performance of GOTCHA BUZZ (*P Mxoli), (distance 15,40 lengths, betting 9/2), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
Trainer P F Matchett was requested to report back to the Stipendiary Board on the condition of GOTCHA BUZZ on return to stables.
e) Trainer A P Peter was charged with a contravention of Rule 39.7.5 in that he failed to vaccinate WONDER I DO against Equine Influenza in accordance with the programme of vaccinations as published from time to time in the Racing Calendar. Trainer A P Peter signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined R1000.
f) DUENNA (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.

b) SUPERSKITT overreach right front; coughing post race.
c) WONDER I DO brush wound right hind.
