Apprentice Jacobs did not ride at today's race meeting. ROUND THE HORN lost 1 length. Shortly after the start, Apprentice Gates, the rider of KEEP ON CRUSING, lost his left side stirrup iron which he regained at the 900m. In the straight, FASHION CHIC and MYSTERY TRIP were hanging in. Following concerns raised by the riders after the running of this race, the Track Manager elected to have the track harrowed. An Investigation will be opened into why COMMANDING QUEEN was presented incorrectly equipped in the parade ring. WHIZZ OF ODDS was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
