THE STARTER REPORTED: a) COUNT MODERNA (H Greyling) was stubborn to load. b) I GOT THE SECRET (M Nyamagwete) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start COUNT MODERNA (H Greyling) and BUSTER BARNES (D Daniels) were carried in by APACHE GOLD (F Herholdt) which jumped awkwardly inwards leaving the stalls. b) The saddle of APACHE GOLD slipped back in running. Confirmed by the Stipendiary Board. c) BUSTER BARNES the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
