THE STARTER REPORTED: a) AMERICAN GRAYSON (*K A Brewer) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) FLYING FIRST CLASS (C Habib) raced wide, without cover around the turn and into the straight and thereafter tired badly. In view of this report, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. b) At approximately the 300m, OUT OF YOUR LEAGUE (*D B Geerthsen) had to ease when awkwardly placed between OVER TWO YOU (*S Sosibo) and BREEZE OVER (*M K Katjedi), which shifted out. Apprentice M K Katjedi was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.7 in that he, as the rider of BREEZE OVER, failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to OUT OF YOUR LEAGUE (*D B Geerthsen) when he shifted out at approximately the 300m. Apprentice M K Katjedi signed an Admission of Guilt and is suspended from riding in races for a period of seven days. Suspension dates: 21 July 2023 to 27 July 2023 (both days inclusive). c) AMERICAN GRAYSON (*K A Brewer), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer T Zackey advised (MduP). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) OVER TWO YOU was ridden by Apprentice S Sosibo (declared 12 July 2023 at 13H29), who weighed out at 51kg, 1kg over the carded weight and without claiming as declared. b) KIND JUDY: Jockey M Yeni weighed out at 51,5kg, 1,5kg over the carded weight as declared. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) OVER TWO YOU raced with a tongue tie on (declared 15 July 2023 at 08H00).
