THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ZATARA MAGIC (M Yeni) jumped awkwardly with its head up and thereafter was slow into stride. b) SILVER HOST (D Ashby) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) ZATARA MAGIC (M Yeni) pulled hard in the early stages. b) At the 900m AMERICAN LANDING went amiss and was immediately eased out of the race by Jockey K Minnie. c) At the 700m UNDERSTATED went amiss and was immediately eased out of the race by Jockey M Mjoka. d) AMERICAN LANDING and UNDERSTATED were attended to on course by the Veterinary Surgeons and as a result, both Jockeys K Minnie and M Mjoka were unable to weigh in. In terms of Rule 66.2 the Stewards were satisfied that both AMERICAN LANDING and UNDERSTATED would have carried the correct weight. e) In view of the performance of SILVER HOST (D Ashby), trainer SJ Snaith will be advised to report back should he find anything amiss with this gelding on his return to the stables. f) TOP QUALITY, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
