THE STARTER REPORTED: a) GRANDE LUPO (A Mgudlwa), PROSPER'S GIFT (M Yeni) and BRASS BELL (R Khathi) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Between the 1000m and the 800m, HIGH VELOCITY (*S Hlengwa) raced in restricted room between PREEMPTIVE STRIKE (S Veale) and GRANDE LUPO (A Mgudlwa). b) At the 800m, ROY'S JULY MAGIC (K Matsunyane) began to over-race and thereafter was eased to avoid running onto the heels of PROSPER'S GIFT (M Yeni). c) PURPLE OPERATOR (T Godden) was hanging in from the 300m. d) In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning PROSPER'S GIFT, and in terms of Rule 93.1, this gelding is suspended for 60 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority.
