THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ALEEYAH'S UNICORN (*S Hlengwa) was slow, losing 5 lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Approaching the 1000m ANA NOBA (*T Mayhew) ran onto and clipped the heels of STYLE ICON (T Godden), which had to steady momentarily off the heels of BABY ON BOARD (S Moodley), which commenced to over-race in the early and middle stages. As a consequence of this DAME MAZONA (S Veale), PIXIE IN LOVE (C Maujean) and FLIGHT DISPLAY (R Khathi) had to take evasive action to avoid ANA NOBA (*T Mayhew). b) NONOTI (*R A Venniker) was hanging in from the 150m. c) GRECIAN PALACE (C Zackey) was hanging in, in the concluding stages. d) Jockey C Habib reported that he felt something amiss in the running with A TOUCH OF SUGAR. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) Apprentice T Mayhew (ANA NOBA) completed a satisfactory qualifying ride. f) In view of the Starter's report with regard to ALLEEYAH'S UNICORN (*S Hlengwa), this filly's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and she is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable with a companion. Suspension dates: 10.08.23 to the 16.08.23. ALEEYAH'S UNICORN may not be presented for re-passing during this period.
