THE STARTER REPORTED: a) DAKOTA CAT (D Schwarz) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) MISS SHAIVI (*S Sosibo) over-raced in the early stages. b) Jockey S Khumalo was charged with a contravention of Rule 58.10.2 (read with Guideline M on the use of the crop) in that he, as the rider of TAMIL TIGRESS, misused his crop by striking this filly more than twelve times (14) which was not warranted when considering the circumstances of the race.
