THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ROSA DOURADA (M van Rensburg) was stubborn loading. b) DOUBLE DESTINY (K Minnie) jumped slow, losing one length. c) DAME OF FLAMES (S Khumalo) jumped with its head up and thereafter was slow into stride. d) RIMAAH (S Khathi) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) ROSA DOURADA (M van Rensburg) proved difficult proceeding to the start and had to be led riderless by a Handler, causing a slight delay. This filly is suspended indefinitely in terms of Rule 93.2.4 until such time as she proves tractable proceeding to the start on a race day. b) Jockey D Ashby was unbalanced when RAISING QUINN took an awkward stride leaving the stalls. c) TRUMP MY QUEEN (M Yeni) was hanging in from the 400m. d) Leaving the 300m RAISING QUINN (D Ashby) shifted out away from the crop and had to be straightened. e) Jockey S Khumalo reported that DAME OF FLAMES was blowing post-race. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. f) In view of the performance of DOUBLE DESTINY, which was hanging in from the 400m and did not respond to Jockey K Minnie's urgings, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. g) Trainer GD Smith was charged with a contravention of Rule 11.2.8 in that he failed to ensure that TRUMP MY QUEEN was correctly equipped when presented in the parade ring. Trainer GD Smith signed an Admission of Guilt and was given a warning. h) LUNA HALO, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer AC Greeff was advised.
