THE STARTER REPORTED: a) CAPTAIN'S DESTINY (O Noach) and GIMMETHATPEARL (G van Niekerk) were stubborn loading. b) DOITWITHDIAMONDS (K Matsunyane) jumped slow, losing two lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) The start of this race was delayed due to the delay in the previous race and the thirty-minute interval between races. b) SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL (M Yeni) over raced in the early and middle stages and was hanging in in the latter stages. c) THREE COINS (JP van der Merwe) was directed outwards and into clear running at the 150m. d) DEVILISHLYGORGEOUS (L Mxothwa), FAMILY POWER (A Andrews) and CAPTAIN'S DESTINY (O Noach) raced green. e) Jockey C Zackey reported that ROCKING PEONIE ran below expectations. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. f) In view of the report from the Starter regarding CAPTAIN'S DESTINY (O Noach) and GIMMETHATPEARL (G van Niekerk) Trainers VH Marshall and SJ Snaith respectively will be advised to have these fillies re-schooled prior to their next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10. g) GIMMETHATPEARL, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
