THE STARTER REPORTED: a) During the loading process ALEEYAH'S UNICORN (*K J Lihaba) reared over the partition between stalls 11 and 12. Removed, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and subsequently withdrawn. b) MUSHARAYHA (S Moodley), TIKVAH (*R A Venniker) and ALPINE GIRL (M Yeni) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) WITCHWOOD (S Veale) was hanging out and shifted out between the 450m and the 250m, and thereafter took an awkward stride. b) WINDS OF WINTER (*B Plaatjies) took an awkward stride at the 350m, and thereafter at the 250m. c) Apprentice B Plaatjies (WINDS OF WINTER) completed a satisfactory qualifying ride. d) In view of the Starter's report with regard to ALEEYAH'S UNICORN (*K J Lihaba), this filly's starting stall certificate is withdrawn, and she is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable with a companion. Suspension dates: 25.09.2023 to the 01.10.2023. ALEEYAH'S UNICORN may not be presented for re-passing during this period.
