THE STARTER REPORTED: a) LIFE LESSON (A Mgudlwa) broke through the front gate and bolted the course. The starting stall certificate for this filly has been withdrawn. Trainer S J Gray was advised (GT). b) SHE'S A KLAWER (K Matsunyane) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls and thereafter was slow, losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) As the start was effected, SHE'S A KLAWER (K Matsunyane) jumped awkwardly outwards making contact with the left front gate. b) In view of the Starter's report with regard to LIFE LESSON, this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable loading and jumping with a companion. Suspension dates: 4 October 2023 to 10 October 2023. LIFE LESSON may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer S J Gray was advised. c) LORNA LILLY (D Schwarz), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer J Borman advised (LK). JOCKEY CHANGES: None.
