THE STARTER REPORTED: a) LAZY GUY (C Zackey) was restless in the stalls. b) ACTIVATOR (M Yeni) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) LAZY GUY (C Zackey) stumbled leaving the starting stalls which resulted in this gelding losing ground to the field. b) LIFE GOES ON (C Habib) over-raced in the early stages and hung out around the turn. c) CAPTAIN WHO (C Maujean) was carried out marginally by HIPPOCRATES (S Veale) which was hanging out from the 300m. d) At approximately the 150m, ACTIVATOR (M Yeni) was momentarily inconvenienced when awkwardly placed on the heels of LAZY GUY (C Zackey), which was hanging out. e) Leaving the 150m, LIFE GOES ON (C Habib) which shifted in away from the crop had to steady to avoid running onto the heels of CAPTAIN WHO (C Maujean). f) In view of the performance of ACTIVATOR (M Yeni) (5.80 lengths, 7/2 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. g) HIPPOCRATES (S Veale), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
