THE STARTER REPORTED: a) PLETTENBERG (R Fourie), RAINBOW OF ROSES (D Daniels) and MASTER OF THE TURF (R Khathi) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) MASTER OF THE TURF (R Khathi), from a wide draw was dropped to the rear of the field to obtain cover. b) PLETTENBERG (R Fourie) and WYATT'S CHOICE (C Habib) over-raced in the early and middle stages. c) RAINBOW OF ROSES (D Daniels) raced green. d) ZERO DAWN (K Matsunyane) shifted in away from the crop at the 300m. e) Jockey M Yeni (TICKALOX) regathered his left side rein in the concluding stages. f) Jockey R Fourie reported that PLETTENBERG made an abnormal respiratory noise in the running.
