THE STARTER REPORTED: a) FATED CHESTNUT (*S Hlengwa) lost 2 lengths. b) THE GREEN GALLANT (R Khathi) lost 4 lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) SWIFT NICKS (A Mgudlwa) brushed the inside running rail at the 500m. b) FATED CHESTNUT (*S Hlengwa) shifted in away from the crop at the 250m. Apprentice S Hlengwa reported that this gelding changed stride continually in the running. In view of this report the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) TRUE TOJAN (C Maujean) shifted out away from the crop in the concluding stages. d) In view of the performance of STREETSHAVENONAME (D De Gouveia) (12.95 lengths, 11/2 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) In view of the Starter's report with regard to THE GREEN GALLANT (R Khathi), this gelding's starting stall certificate is withdrawn, and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it jumps on terms with a companion. Suspension dates: 09.10.2023 to the 15.10.2023. THE GREEN GALLANT may not be presented for re-passing during this period.
