THE STARTER REPORTED: a) BRENDEN JAMES (M Yeni) jumped slow, losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start ZATARA MAGIC (R Khathi) and SPIN DOCTOR (M Mjoka) made contact. As a consequence, ZATARA MAGIC (R Khathi) became unbalanced and SPIN DOCTOR (M Mjoka) took an awkward stride, lost momentum and thereafter raced at the back of the field. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these geldings. b) JACOB'S LADDER (D Schwarz), which was hanging in and shifted in in the straight, had to be straightened at the 150m. c) PRINCE VIHAAN, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
