THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Jockey P Mxoli, the rider of PRETTY IN PEARLS, briefly dropped his left-side rein at approximately the 150m. b) In view of the performance of PRINCESS KESH (S Khumalo), (distance 7,00 lengths, betting 9/2), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. c) When questioned regarding the improved performance of KIND JUDY, Trainer B D Botes could offer the Board no suitable explanation. His attention was drawn to the Rules pertaining to In and Out running. d) LIDL MISS SUNSHINE (K A Brewer), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
