THE STARTER REPORTED: a) FINAL EDITION (R Fourie) and LEGAL THRILLER (K Minnie) were stubborn loading. b) HE'S A GAUL (*N Nastili) jumped slow, losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) UBISIKA dislodged Jockey S Khumalo without incident on arriving at the start, bolted the course and was subsequently withdrawn by the course Veterinary Surgeon, causing a delay. b) FUJISAN (M Yeni) was hanging in from the 300m. c) In view of the performance of HE'S A GAUL (*N Nastili), which trailed the field throughout and was not persevered with from 150m, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this colt. d) In view of the report from the Starter regarding LEGAL THRILLER (K Minnie) Trainer A C Greeff will be advised to have this gelding re-schooled prior to his next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10. e) LEGAL THRILLER, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
