THE STARTER REPORTED: a) THE NOAH (R Khathi) jumped awkwardly and lost 1 length. b) HELSINKI (M Yeni) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Leaving the starting stalls LAUDATO (*S Hlengwa) was squeezed out between HIAWATHA GOLDBERG (S Moodley) which jumped out and FUTURE FLO (*R A Venniker) which jumped in. b) Approaching the 100m HELSINKI (M Yeni) which was hanging out from the 300m, rolled out. Thereafter HIAWATHA GOLDBERG (S Moodley) was tightened between HELSINKI (M Yeni) and FUTURE FLO (*R A Venniker) which was hanging in from the 200m, and rolled in. c) Apprentice N Nastili reported that he felt something amiss in the running with SILVER ALERT. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) Jockey R Fourie reported that VENERABLE did not stride out freely in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning SILVER ALERT, and in terms of Rule 93.1, this gelding is suspended for 60 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority.
