THE STARTER REPORTED: a) MEDITERANEANGODDES (S Khumalo) refused to load and was withdrawn, causing a delay. b) MISS ROSE (C Maujean) was stubborn loading. c) MIA REGINA (R Fourie) was nervous and kicked the back gates of the starting stalls. d) HILDELITA (L Mxothwa) was nervous in the stalls and rushed the front gates. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Approaching the 150m HILDELITA (L Mxothwa), which was hanging out, and MIA REGINA (R Fourie) brushed. b) Jockey C Maujean reported that MISS ROSE did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. Race 7 contd. c) Jockey X Ndlovu reported that PERSICA made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. d) In view of the report from the Starter regarding MEDITERANEANGODDES (S Khumalo), this mare's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended for 7 days in terms of Rule 61.6.10 and until such time as she proves to be tractable with a companion. (Suspension dates: 11/11/2023 to 17/11/2023 inclusive).
