THE STARTER REPORTED: a) JOYOUS JUBILEE (AUS) (C Maujean) reacted when MR BODACIOUS (S Khumalo) and BENNELONG POINT (L Mxothwa) became restless in the stalls. kicked the back gates of the starting stalls, was taken out, examined by the course Veterinary Surgeon and withdrawn, causing a delay. b) MR BODACIOUS (S Khumalo) was restless in the stalls and rushed the front gates. c) BENNELONG POINT (L Mxothwa) was restless in the stalls. Race 8 contd. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Jockey S Khumalo reported that he felt something amiss with MR BODACIOUS. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. b) In view of the performance of FLYING PETER (D Schwarz), which was not persevered with from the 150m, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. c) TRAVEL MASTER, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
